THE CHALLENGE

Baanx is an ambitious FinTech scaleup focused on bridging the gap between fiat and digital currency, an area that demands both technical precision and speed of delivery. At a critical early stage, they were struggling to access the specialist JavaScript talent needed to deliver core API services and their Front End platform within a demanding timeline.

The complexity of the work, combined with the urgency of delivery, meant they needed more than a recruiter; they needed a partner who could consult on the right approach and then execute it quickly.

OUR APPROACH

We started with a structured discovery process to fully understand the scope of the challenge and the nature of the delivery work required. Working closely with the Baanx team, we agreed that an interim model was the most appropriate solution,  giving them immediate access to the expertise they needed without the lead time of permanent hiring.

We then drew on our network of experienced JavaScript developers  (experts in Node.js, React and AWS) to assemble a team of three engineers on an interim basis, carefully matched to augment the existing Baanx team and integrate quickly.

THE RESULT

The interim team contributed directly to the delivery of key API development work and well-executed Front End build over a 6–9 month engagement. By providing the technical depth the business had been lacking, we enabled Baanx to hit their delivery milestones and maintain momentum at a critical stage. Baanx have continued to grow strongly, developing exciting partnerships across the FinTech space.
