The Challenge
We recently partnered with BioRender, a revolutionary scientific visualization start-up to help them fill a critical role in their Founding AI Engineer. This role was proving a uniquely difficult hire to make for the team owing to the uncommon mix of technical requirements and prior experience working on highly scalable AI solutions.
The Solution
One of the core advantages we were able to quickly identify was that owing to our recent focus of working with a range of other US start-ups and hiring for similarly experienced AI Engineers, we felt confident that we either had access to, or would be able to quickly access a pool of relevant candidates for the role. We went through an in-depth onboarding process with the partner, enabling us to understand the shortcomings of the process and existing candidates, and from here were able to quickly provide a strong shortlist of engineers, both from our existing network and laser-focused outreach.
The result
We were able to achieve an immediate uplift in successful candidate submissions. From an almost stagnant pipeline, we rapidly stimulated the process and have several excellent options the partner is in the process of interviewing.
