The Challenge

We were engaged by Levelpath, a rapidly scaling AI-powered end-to-end procurement start-up to help build their founding engineering team at scale. The core problem we faced was building a team onsite in San Francisco that adequately mirrored the core technical skillsets (Ruby-on-Rails, Node.js, Typescript, React etc.) of a much larger offshore team, whilst increasing in quality.

The Solution

We wanted to initiate the process by gaining a sufficient understanding of the core challenge and putting in place a process which would allow us to constantly feedback between Amigos and the partner to acknowledge areas of progress and address any issues. To do this, we agreed several kick off calls with various team members to develop our knowledge of the company and technical roles, whilst agreeing a schedule of weekly calls. From here, we utilised a combination of Amigos-specific AI tools to generate a pool of quality candidates and worked to screen them effectively against our in-depth understanding of the requirements.

The result

We were able to rapidly increase the volume of quality candidates entering the process which enabled the client to begin to robustly improve the speed of progression of candidates through the pipeline. This resulted in several successful submissions, enabling the partner to begin to build the team at a much quicker rate. It also resulted in Amigos receiving several additional recommendations to San Francisco start-ups, who we are now working with.
