The Challenge

Jennis is a women’s health and fitness platform founded by Olympic gold medallist Jessica Ennis-Hill. They focus on helping women understand their bodies and hormones in a new way, to better align their health with their lifestyles. As a very early-stage start-up, they needed a key hire to help develop their initial platform, utilising a suite of JavaScript technologies (like React, Node.js) and built on AWS. They were finding this challenging owing to the required technical profile, combined with a limited budget and urgency of the project.

The Solution

After several rounds of consultation with the team, we understood that we needed a senior, trustworthy profile who was proficient in the aforementioned technical skills. we were able to reach out to various talented engineers within our network, leaning principally on those we had prior working relationships with. Resultantly, we were able to quickly identify a trusted, existing individual from our network who was a great fit for this nuanced requirement.
